Contracting Party Profile

In order to ensure transparency and public access to information on their contractual activity, and notwithstanding the use of other advertising media in the cases required by this Act or by the regional implementation rules or in rules decided voluntarily, contracting bodies will disseminate their contracting party profile via the Internet. The form of access to the contracting party profile must be specified in the institutional websites of public sector organisations, in the State Contracting Platform and in the tender's specifications and announcements.

The contracting party profile can include any data and information regarding the contractual activity of the contracting body, such as announcements of preliminary information included in section 125, the tenders that are open or in progress and the relevant documentation, the programmed contracts, the contracts awarded, the cancelled proceedings, and any other useful general information, such as points of contact and means of communication which can be used to contact the contracting body. In any case, provisional contract awards should be published in the contracting party profile.

The computer system supporting the contracting party profile must have a device that enables reliable certification of the start time of the public dissemination of the information included therein.

The dissemination through the contracting party profile of information regarding contract award proceedings will have the effects stipulated in Part I of Book III.
